Take care an use salt wisely

Take care an use salt wisely

Aside from carrying extra food in your belly (gastrointestinal contents) the usual explanation for such a sudden increase in weight and waist size following a proper diet is bloating from increased salt intake.
The main use of table salt is to add a flavour into our food but most people have developed a habit that even before they actually taste the food they are adding salt into the food just by looking at it they have already tasted that the food needs a bit of a salt flavour. We receive about 80% of our salt intake from sodium chloride which is added to most of the processed food we eat on our everyday lives Research also showed that cataract formation, a clouding of the lenses associated with salt. And it seems we are eating more processed food today than ever. Our bodies only require about 500 mg of sodium a day (1tsp), and this should be obtained from within natural foods, not added to food in the form of sodium chloride. However, we typically get as much as 6,000-8,000 mg of sodium a day! Salt is practically everywhere and causing health problems. The reason salt causes bloating is that your body retains water to dilute it in order to protect your tissues from salt's Ron Brown, author of The Body Fat Guide
Although scientists have long suspected a link between salt intake and cardiovascular disease, a recent study by Brigham and Women's Hospital and Harvard Medical School (Cook et al, 2007) confirms that people who reduced their salt intake by 25-30% had an equal reduction in risk of cardiovascular disease of 25%.Dr. Norm Campbell of Blood Pressure Canada, who is leading the development of a National Sodium Policy in Canada, states, "If we discovered that a food additive was causing 30 percent of all cancers, something would be done right away. The same action is needed with sodium to prevent stroke, heart disease and other vascular illnesses." The Journal of the American Medical Association reported back in 1947

LOOKING SEXY COMES AT A PRICE

THE DANGERS OF WEARING HIGH HEELS
High heels are an obsession to every woman now days; they are worn by all the glamorous celebrities no matter what the occasion! In the present times high heels are a fashionable accessory and have become an important part of today’s modern women's day to day. Women wear heels  because they calves look firmer and more  pronounced, lower leg muscles more defined, legs look longer, butt look more rounded and pronounced, feet look smaller, look taller, feet and toes look smaller, walk seductively in short and tipping strides and posture more upright causing her to even push out her busts.
Effects of wearing heels
When wearing heels you bend your lower back to compensate for this and that changes the position of your spine, putting pressure on nerves in the back. Results in sciatica, this condition is caused by pressure on the sciatic nerves, which runs in the lower spine and travels down the back of the legs. Pain, weakness, numbness or a tingling feeling are common symptoms experienced in the affected leg. Not only do heels result in damaging effects to your legs, but according to UK health and fitness expert Dax Moy, heels can possibly lead to the infertility. When you wear high-heels, the pressure on the front of the foot causes you to compensate by excessive forward tilting of the pelvis, If left unchecked, this can lead to menstrual dysfunction and increases in period pains as well as affecting the ability to conceive. It doesn't stop there - neck, back, shoulder pain, stress headaches and even premature hair loss can ensue as a result of ignoring the way your body is designed to work.By:theblackedition

v  The Feet: When a woman is walking in heels, she is basically walking on the balls of her feet. The ball of the foot will experience intense pressure, and result in Ankle injuries the degree of injuries can extend from sprains to fractures. Calluses, corns and bunions can be formed on feet due to high heels, especially if the shoes are tight, tough or walked in for long periods.
v  Metatarsalgia is a condition affecting the ball of the foot, The muscles of the feet become tight and are unable to stretch and straighten when out of the shoes.
v  A pump bump the straps cause intense friction on the heel causing that nuisance of a bump to form. Women may complain of numbness, sharp pain and burning all of which are symptoms of Morton's Neuroma. Morton's Neuroma is the inflammation of the tissue surrounding the nerve between the 3rd and 4rth toe.
v  The Knees: High heels cause much more pressure to be exerted on the knees. The force that causes such pressure is more than what the knees are designed for, and can give rise to a condition called osteoarthritis.
v  Posture: A woman will have to bend her spine in the lower back more to keep her balance. Women may wonder where certain back, shoulder and neck pain may come from. Well, high heels are a prime cause of such pain.
v  The Lower Legs: The calf muscles may become difficult to impossible to straighten without medical intervention. A similar condition can occur with the Achilles' tendon where it too can retain its shortened state even when a woman is not wearing heels.
